If you’re a regular visitor to the blog (thank you!), you will have heard me talk about how I design with my customers in mind and how I always ensure my bags are practical as well as stylish. It was no different when I designed a Hobo-style bag, which I added to the range earlier this year.
Affectionately named ‘Malaika’ by our wonderful craftsmen and women who create my designs by hand, in Kerala, southern India, the large, crescent-shaped Hobo-style bag is ideal for a woman with a busy lifestyle who needs a versatile handbag to accessorise a range of different looks.
A Hobo-style bag is typically relaxed, with a ‘slouchy look’. Malaika is fully lined; it has two inside pockets to keep everything safe and organised, a wide and comfortable shoulder strap and a subtle magnetic popper fastening to secure the top opening of the bag.
Our versatile Hobo bag is available in three beautifully rich, earthy tones: Damson Red, Graphite and Assam (Khaki Green).
